If only it was, almost everytime i see a vid of it i really wanna sub again heh. They reopenned it as free to play for about 2-4 weeks in mid 08 for old account holders and damn it was good to be back in and fighting. I don't like FPSs, but this totally had me hooked for about 2 years.

i play it on Vista...you click on the planetside icon and click on the properties and go to to compatibility tab...and go from there

yes it run on vista u have to run it in Admin and service pack 2 XP

Planetside was an awesome game while I played it, but when I re installed it a few months ago, it froze up on the loading screen. When I restarted my computer, it froze up on the WIndows XP loading screen (no icons, no bar at the bottom), and only the station loading platform came up. As you can imagine this seriously buggered up my comp, in the end I had to re install all the partitions on my computer. Did anyone else get this problem, or something similar? Please comment or get back to me.

so true man planetside is far the best game every created but too bad the game is not like it was before :( the only games we see on the market now is games with good graphics but thats not what people want i think they want real gaming experience. screw graphics planetside old skool rocks.
