Map Features
Zoom - clicking a coal site in the list on the right-hand side will transport you to a close-up satellite view of the site, allowing you to see it in detail. At the moment some sites in Scotland do not have detailed imagery. This will change when Google updates the satellite imagery with more detail.
Show/Hide - clicking on a category of site in the key will toggle showing and hiding it on the map, making it easy to view only the sites you're interested in.
Reset - clicking the middle button in the top left navigator will reset the map to its default view of the entire UK.
Terrains - to more easily identify local towns and villages, try switching to 'Map' or 'Hybrid' view, which show features like roads, rivers and built-up areas clearly.
