Keeping the campaign going proved to be a major problem during the early part of this period. In May we decided to launch a petition calling on Leicestershire County Council to determine the Minorca Application at the July 15th Meeting of LCC's Development Control and Regulatory Board meeting ion July 15th. With our new MP for North West Leicestershire, Andrew Bridgen being the first to sign the petition, collecting nearly 50o signatures and two pensioners walking 15 miles to deliver it it attracted some media attentiion, including ITV Central News, BBC Radio Leicester and numerous news stories following our Press Releases no 56-63 which cover the story.
